　　现在我们来到的殿阁就是著名的三官殿。殿内共有三尊佛像：中间为佛教创始人释迦牟尼，左边为儒家创始人孔子，右边为道家鼻祖老子，三教供于一殿，在全国各地寺庙建筑中极为罕见。集中体现了中华民族对于文化大同的崇高境界。

　　在悬空寺里，我们会发现悬空寺的塑像是很多的，但是其中有三尊最为珍贵，说它们尊贵是因为它们的塑造艺术是十分独特的，它们是采用脱纱的工艺。高50厘米，重量只有3公斤重，是寺里最轻、最名贵的塑像。

　　那么悬空寺的第二第三部分就是真正的悬空了。外面的木柱给人的感觉就是靠着十几根木柱支撑整个寺庙，单其实那些木柱大多数都是不承重的，而我们看到在每一部分起连接作用的是栈道，在栈道的下面有一些横梁，这些横梁是插入岩石中的，在修建的时候，将岩石凿出口小肚大的石洞，里面放上锥形木楔，将横梁做成剪刀形猛力砸进去，木楔就钻入横梁，外面的力气越大，里面咬合得就越紧，它们把力就压在岩石上。

　　我们知道，恒山自古就是兵家必争之地，那么每个朝代的统治都有自己崇拜的宗教，而三教殿集佛道儒于一身，无论在任何朝代都会受到保护，这也是悬空寺千年不毁的一个政治原因吧。
