闹枝中学
设计理念:基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。综合语言运用能力的形成建立在学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养整体发展的基础上。根据新课程标准以及对本课内容的分析,本节课适合采用的是任务型语言教学(Task–Based Language Teaching)模式,教学设计和教学过程,应充分发挥学生的主体地位、教师的主导作用。本节课要求学生学习如何提出邀请以及如何回复,包括接受与谢绝。采取了对话表演的形式,让学生在语言环境中运用语言,感受到英语学习的乐趣。
设计背景:新课标英语八年级上第五单元围绕着邀请这一话题展开。本节课(Section A 1a-1c)主要内容是学习如何礼貌地发出邀请以及进行回复;适当的谈论自己已有的计划或安排。课程内容并不复杂,易于学生接受。八年级学生已经具备较好的语言交际能力,能较完整的进行对话练习。鉴于以上原因,我尝试开展课堂Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动,并以分组抢答的形式进行听力训练。

Step 1 Revision
正式上课前,领学生适当地进行了一些复习,既可以重温刚刚学过的知识,又可以为下一步提出生日邀请做好铺垫。 Ask the students to answer the following questions:

向学生提出邀请,自然过渡到本节课的主题。 Step 3 Presentations.

b. Ask the students to look at the power point and teach the phrases:
study for a test, go to the doctor, have a piano lesson, help my parents, visit my aunt.
列出学生所看到的活动,即能适时地让学生复习以前学过的内容,享受学习英语的成就感,又可以为下一步句型的操练提供了选择活动。此外,在此基础上还可以适当地补充列举surf the internet/play basketball等。
c. Ask the students to match the words with the pictures and practice:What do you have to do? I have to …
让学生将表示拒绝的句型I have to…与刚刚列举出的活动结合到一起运用,使学生印象更加深刻。
d. 问学生是否能参加我的生日晚会(晚会时间各不相同有上课时,周末等),回答中必然有肯定和否定两种,由此引入怎样接受或拒绝邀请,并将以下对话写在黑板上。

利用刚刚所学来的向对方提出、接受或拒绝邀请,做到学以致用,及时巩固。 Step 5 listening a. Finish exercise 1a.

由歌曲Happy birthday to you 切入听力练习,衔接自然。
b. Divide the students into five groups. Then ask the students to listen again, and finish the following blank:

Step 7 Summary
对本堂课进行总结,使学生更加明确本堂课的重、难点。 1. Can you come to my party?
Can情态动词,后面跟动词原形.。这里用来表示提出邀请,意为“能”。对别人的邀请我们可以接受或拒绝,拒绝时要说明原因。接受邀请可以说: Sure! I'd love to.或Sure! I'd like to。注意 to不能省略,I'd=I would。

拒绝别人的邀请,我们可以说;
Thank you very much for your invitation.或Thanks for asking./I’m sorry, I can’t. 接下来应该说明理由。如:I have to help my sister. 2. I have to go to see a doctor.
have to必须,不得不,表责任、义务,着重于客观因素所致。有人称的变化,第三人称单数为has to。否定为: do not have to Step 8 Exercises

教学后记及反思:
本节课教学内容不是很多,因此课上时间比较充足,适当地进行了一些复习。课上主要讲解怎样对人提出邀请,接受邀请或者拒绝邀请。针对本节课的教学重、难点,着重操练了have to do的用法和句型Can you come to my party的应用。听力部分速度较快,篇幅较长,学生接收比较困难。增加了表格列出问题引导学生进行听力训练,采取分组抢答的方式进行,学生的积极性比较高。
从整体上来看本节课,学生对所学的知识还是比较容易掌握的。应注意的是在学生掌握了所学知识后,可适当让学生编排对话进行表演,进一步开发学生的潜力。
