摘要： A process for forming cathodes elements for sodium-sulfur uses fibrousmaterial sheets which the electrically conductive fibers are arranged mostly parallel to agiven plane. A sheet of the fibrous material is cut into several strips which are thenassembled to form at least one structure which has the form of a sheet whose fibers aremainly oriented as those of the sheet-like structure. The structure is formed andcompressed to form at least one cathode component, wherein component comprises atleast one section which has the form that we want to give to the cathode. Thecompressed component is impregnated with a cathodic reactant.
